Description

Bor-Thekera (Garcinia Pedunculata) ,The tree has a fluted trunk with short spreading branches. Leaves are lanceolate with prominent midribs. Male flowers are light green in sparsely flowered panicles. The female flowers are solitary. The roundish fruit has a diameter ranging between 8 and 12 cm.

It has a juicy interior with edible arils a tangy fruit which is an essential part of Assamese kitchen . The thekera are generally cut into slices and sun-dried. These dried pieces are used as souring agents in traditional fish curries. Thekera pieces soaked in water makes excellent cooling drink in summers. The raw thekera can be made into chutneys. It helps in digestion n keeps the stomach cool.

Bor-Thekera is used in Hot in potency, strong, piercing, unctuous, oily, improves digestion strength, Digestive diseases. It is also used in excessive thirst, haemorrhoids, vomiting, anorexia, hiccups, cough, cold, asthma and chronic respiratory disorders.

Door Step Delivery

All orders are delivered door-to-door free of charge. Our courier services reach all most all parts of India, however, in rare cases, if the parcel service is not available in one’s area, the customer has to collect the package from the nearest collection point of the delivery company.

Cash On Delivery

We do not accept cash on delivery for plants, since it will take at least 15 days to reach the plants back to the nursery once the customer rejects to take the order. Because of the delay, the plant may be permanently damaged or completely lost. We accept cash on deliveries for seeds, grow pots, fertilizers, soil etc..

Refund Policy

No refund is allowed. However, the fault is from our end such as defective / wrong / missing products or damage caused during shipment, please do let us know at the earliest. We suggest taking a video / picture of unboxing the parcel, this will smoothen the replacement process and also helps us to understand the various kinds of damages caused by our courier vendors.

If the receiver is not ready to accept the delivery or absent at the time of delivery, leads to no refund policy.
