Water apple( Syzygium samarangense) is a tropical tree growing to 12 m tall, with evergreen leaves The flowers are white, with four petals and numerous stamens. The fruit is a bell-shaped, edible berry, with colors ranging from white, pale green, or green to red, purple, or crimson, to deep purple or even black, fruit size will be 4–6 cm long in some varieties.
Water Apple is not actually an apple. It is a tropical fruit that grows in south-east Asia, including southern India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. In Malaya and Indonesia, it will give two crops a year. Thailand variety water apples are big sizes and very sweet and delicious, while some varieties can be relatively round, others are somewhat pear-shaped, wide at the bottom, and very narrow at the top.
SPECIALITY OF ROSE WATER APPLE
This variety is very common in our place. It is in rose color when ripe and can be grown by seed. The seedlings will start fruiting within two years, so no need to plant grafted plants. It is very much liked by kids and the plant is small and will have plenty of fruit even the tree is small. In a year more than one time, it will fruit.
FERTILIZING
Water apple often grows quickly and bears fruit early. Therefore, these plants need fertilizer to be fairly frequently and on a regular basis. Fertilize according to vegetative growth and after the fruit picked. Fertilizer during flowering and fruit set should be avoided. In addition to chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizer – poultry manure, rabbit droppings or cow dung can be used. Organic fertilizers not only provide nutrients to plants gradually, but they also improve soil conditions.
HARVESTING
When the color of the fruit changes from green to light green or red (in case of red variety), it is an indication that the fruit is ready to be picked. The fruit is also quite edible at this stage. The fruit is handpicked. Pick at the mature stage. Always handle the fruit carefully as the skin is susceptible to mechanical damage during handling.

For a seamless replacement process, we recommend capturing a video or picture while unboxing the parcel. This not only expedites the resolution but also aids us in comprehending the specific types of damages caused by our courier vendors.
Occasionally, plants may experience a temporary dullness or leaf drop during transportation due to factors such as insufficient sunlight and water.
Kindly follow our plant care instructions and closely monitor its condition for the next 15-20 days. This period will allow the plant to rejuvenate and regain its strength, returning to a healthy state.
Immediate repotting or re-planting of delivered plants can induce stress on them.
We recommend maintaining the plants in the original bag upon receipt and consistently watering them for the initial two weeks. Additionally, place the plants in an area with 50% sunlight during this period. After the plants have acclimated to your climate and achieved stability, you may proceed to repot them into larger containers or directly into the field.
We regret to inform you that we do not support cash on delivery for plant orders. This decision is based on the fact that in the event of order rejection, it takes a minimum of 15 days for the plants to return to the nursery. This delay poses a risk of permanent damage or loss to the plants.
